RE: Receiver Battery and Regulator

This is the same setup I use. Fromeco regulator will fit nicely under front of servo tray.
If you like to fly alot in one day and not worry about recharging, you might consider the 5200mah Relion...

RE: Which Transmitter?

Like "Cuda" said, both are good radios. I have a DX7 and Futaba 8U on 2.4ghz. The biggest difference between the radios are the program menus. The DX7 can be a little confusing with programing a...

RE: GOVORNER ?

I have two machines with Futaba GV-1 governors and two other machines with Model Avianics Rev/Max throttle limiter on them.
Basic differences are;
GV-1 relies on good throttle curve setup, best...

RE: TT50 is Junk!!!!(mine anyway)

OS hyper 50 in a 30V2, seen it done by a friend. Not recommended, the engine constantly overrevved and it blew up about a 1/2 gallon of fuel later. He eventually took my advice and purchased a 50...

RE: 8U transmitter and PCM question

Just set the transmitter to PPM mode, instead of PCM. The 8U will transmit in both FM & PCM modes.

RE: Raptor 50 VS 30

I have all the Raptor sizes, 30, 50, 60 (now with a 91 engine), and a 90SE and love them all. The biggest differance between the 30 and 50 is more power, stability, and overall performance. The 30 is...

RE: Raptor 60 to 90 upgrade

Just done this myself. I have a 90SE and bought a new YS91SR for it, and put the OS 91 C-spec from the 90SE into my 60 Raptor. The conversion kit makes it easier, just use kit fan shroud, servo tray,...

RE: Raptor 30 Conversion

Gohbee Aviation also offers a conversion kit that works on the Raptors and it includes the OS 50 Hyper engine.
Usually always in stock and ship relatively quick.

Just offering another option....

RE: PROBLEM WITH THE OS-MAX 70SZ-H!!!!!

Sounds like the distributor is not representing OS Engines best interest.

I recently lost the top portion of the piston in my OS 70SZ and sent it back to Hobby Services with a copy of the...

RE: The 1st Annual Heli Fun Fly @ Winamac Aeromodelers Field

Thanks Ron, the food was fantastic.
I would like to thank all those who came and helped make our first helicopter fun fly a great success. Ron's awesome cooking skills, Nick and friends for the...

RE: Raptor 90 TR gears

Another suggestion also is check that your tail blades are not too large. 105mm is all the bigger you would need to go and I've seen 95mm work fine on 90 size machines. A too large tail blade could...

RE: Raptor 90 TR gears

This is an odd problem. [X(] I've currently got 2 of the 60/90 model Raptors and had two others and never lost the T/R (other than a crash). Are you using the white plastic gear sets, the red were...

RE: Flying problems with Raptor 30 V2

The 30V2 will bounce a little bit in a good breeze. To minimize the bouncing you can set your pitch curve in the normal mode to be a little flatter at center stick along with the throttle curve. This...

RE: flybar weights and paddles

Thunder Tiger offers the red 60/90 paddles for the 4mm flybar. I've got a set of these on a 90SE and they perform just as good as a set of 95mm V-paddles that I've got on my 60. They also have the...

RE: 50 vs 60

I have both a 50SE and a 60V2. Neither are box stock but both have close upgrades like upgrade collective pitch arms, all metal heads, mixers, bases, flybar control arms, light weight paddles, and so...

RE: R50 Titan w GY401 tail not turning fas like before

Try going back to square one. Start with radio set up (yep, I know it's a pain but might save you some money)
Check gyro menu, ATV (end points), gain settings, and verify nothing is messed up or...

Great finish in white with black windshield in the stock plastic canopy design. The standard plastic canopy...

RE: Funkey blades good or just cheap?

Funkey is who makes the Radix blades for Curtis Youngblood Enterprizes. The Radix are very good quality made blades so you can assume their name brand would be of a good quality also.

RE: why is important to get a good muffler????

For just hovering and some forward flight a cheap muffler will work fine. You most likely won't bang the sticks enough to notice any lack of power. At this point in flying, use your money for fuel...

RE: Coaxial Help

It sounds like the gyro gain is set too low and not holding the tail.
Take a look at the 4 in 1 control unit (receiver/gyro) for a small screw adjuster or potentiometer labeled GAIN. If you...
