Make that 3 motor mount failures. Started it up and awful vibration, within seconds heard a crack then another as first the top and then the bottom of the motor mount U fractured and the motor fell...

The 42-60 is a real torque monster. Its a really good motor. I find the over square outrunners ie longer than diameter have real good torque and work very well in 3D mode.

OMP 2 stroke prop recommendation

I'm currently setting up an OMP.90 size Fusion with a .90 two stroke motor. Can someone recommend a prop to start with for this size motor for 3D flying.

What is the proper way to use a woodpecker? How smooth do you sand prior to using it? How hard do you push or how far into the wood? Do you sand afterwards?

I am pretty fair at film covering. Not great, but I can do an ok job. I pretty much gave up using monocote about 4 eyars ago because of issues with it bubbling and blistering more in the sun more...
