Yes, a winch will effectively cut the required field length considerably because the line goes out to a turn around and back to the sailplane.

Thats my problem... In reverse! I have a 3.2 meter Pilatus Porter with a 3W twin under the bonnet and no one to tow![:o]

You can fly it on a 9ch Radio. If you are serious about flying this sailplane. You should sign up over on www.rcaerotowing.com There is a wealth of info over there on getting started in scale...

On a scale from one to ten, whats the condition of the Ventus? Is it ready to fly(servos, batt., RX)? $600.00 would be a fair asking price for a 3.5-4 meter scale ship.

Those aren't gap seal tapes.. Gap seal has adhesive only on one half the tape.
