Hey Kit, I crashed my tower trainer sooooo many times, I lost count!! Just keep putting it back together and fly the wings off her! It's a GREAT trainer.

The wing mounting brackets sheared off from inside the fuse. The wing is held on by two 3/16" metal bolts.

Luckily, I regained just a blip of control and had the throttle backed down to idle....

This is what happens when the battery comes loose from it's holder.....after doing several minutes worth of scale manuvers..

I'm recovering in a standard mustang color scheme....she WILL fly...

chasguy.....I have one of these...great trainer or just for fun. The wing is held on by the rubber band method like a lot of trainers are.....a dowel thru the fuse at the front and rear of the wing...

Hey, I bashed a 40 size Giles 202 into a twin and it was GREAT fun!! If you can find a plane similar to that at a swap meet, you can bash it fairly cheap. The 25's will work very well in a plane...

Duke, sorry for your loss. It looked like you didn't have enough air speed or altitude for a warbird. Most of them do a large barrel roll and need plenty of height to do one. Bummer, nice bird....

Ace......an OS46 or TT46pro would be a good choice. I had a mustang with the TT46pro and it was very fast. If you like the sound of a 4-stroke, the Saito 50 would be a nice fit.

steamer401......The Champ and Citabria are pretty close cousins. Diffs are in the nose, windows and tail. FWMAN1 has the Champ as do I. Bass1 has the citabria. I fly mine with a Homlite 25cc gas...

Hi.....I put an OS25 on an ACE Simple Ultimate and it's a hoot!! It's a bit tricky to take off from grass but with skis off snow it's a blast ! Cheap and easy to build if you can find one.
