RE: Truggy Tires on Buggy?

Putting big tires on without a lot of other mods is a bad idea, I tried it awhile back.  The buggy ran very hot and was super slow.  Get a truggy or a conversion kit.  </p>

RE: Which One

I've only had Ofna buggies but they've always performed wonderfully for me.  1/8 are MUCH more durable than 1/10 and can go over larger bumps and rouger terrain.  1/10 can have plenty of speed...

RE: Witch is a better buggy all around ?

H7 for bashing H9 for racing.  Both are great.

RE: New to buggies, but not nitro RC. Question

Ofna FTW. I had a ravager and it worked great and now I have a brushless Hyper 8 Pro :). Fun buggies. I literally jumped the ravager 20+ feet in the air with no ill effects.

RE: Beware of "dirtevader"

Yeah I guess I should have anticipated something like this happening trading for something sight unseen. I don't know if it's worth prosecution over $200, I could easily sue him in small claims...

Beware of "dirtevader"

I agreed to trade him my Ofna Ravager for his Rustler with the VXL system (old model rustler he had added the vxl system to) after he replied to my ad in the marketplace section. He said it worked...

RE: Question about VXL ESC

Update: I reset it and it turned solid green and it still wouldn't go. The motor isn't doing anything. You were definitely right about the low volt mode, but there's another problem too. Could the...

RE: Question about VXL ESC

It is an NiMh batt I think. Thanks, I'll try that.

Question about VXL ESC

I traded my Ofna Ravager for a rustler with the vxl system and it doesn't seem to work. A light flashes red and occasionally turns green, but either color it won't go when I give it throttle. I...

RE: Know of an online store that ships from the east coast?

Yeah you're probably right. I mainly want a dif transmitter so I can fine tune stuff better, and there are AM radios that can do that. Thanks for the reply though, I'll try that.

RE: Know of an online store that ships from the east coast?

Yeah I like tower but couldn't find a way to specify a frequency. Anyone know how?

RE: Know of an online store that ships from the east coast?

Ofna Ravager. Just need a better radio than stock haha. That Ofna "thing" radio kinda sucks.

RE: Anyone wanna help me decide what wheels to get?

Yeah, it actually is black. I like the O.Z.'s a lot too. The only problem with black wheels is their rarity/price. Supply and demand. Tirerack has the black Spirits and black Ultraleggeras priced...

RE: Know of an online store that ships from the east coast?

Both. I actually need a new radio now, and most places should have that. As far as I could tell tower wouldn't let me specify frequency, and I have to have a freq other than 27 (5) green because...

Anyone wanna help me decide what wheels to get?

Hey everyone, I'm getting new wheels for my 2006 BMW 325 and wanted input on what looks the best. This is the most active forum I'm on, so I figured I'd get some responses here. I've narrowed it...

Know of an online store that ships from the east coast?

Title says it all, I'm sick of ordering stuff and getting it a week later because it ships from CA or UT. I live in TN btw. I've tried rcplanet and amain and they both ship from west coast...

RE: Slow Steering...

I'm using a venom 1200mah pack, and the speeds I said were manufacturer quotes. As far as I know the linkage is OK. It does seem to make strange noises (compared to other servos).

Slow Steering...

I got a hobbico high torque servo for my ravager, and it has enough torque (133 oz-in), but is SLOW. If I remember correctly it's like .26 or .28 seconds, even slower than stock. It doesn't seem to...

RE: What was your first rc car??

I had a bunch of radio shack things but my first real rc was a duratrax evader bx. I ended up frying it's electronics (including a 14t motor and a decent esc) when I drove it out of radio range at...

RE: Do You Find This Disturbing

I don't like it. But it's a helluva lot better than the speed cameras and red light cameras. Now THATS bs. How do they know who was driving my car? Among other problems. I think we are giving up...

RE: Electric Motors and Dust/Dirt

Cool, thanks for the help. What would you guys recommend for jumping (BIG) and running on relatively flat dirt? I like the look of the rc10b4 but dunno if it's tough enough. And I heard graphite...

RE: Electric Motors and Dust/Dirt

Does anyone know if the mamba/novak/velineon systems are sealed? I guess they wouldn't have to be completely sealed anyway; my servos are exposed and they're fine.
