You should check out the offerings by Taigen, they are essentially upgraded Heng Longs with better mechanics, also come as RTR. They should be within the $700 price range too.

I would recommend this product called...

I would recommend this product called "Blacken-It", it's a bluing liquid that is used to weather model railroad tracks, I tried it on my Leo tracks and it gives them a very nice weathered look.

No they are not, the Abrams tracks have differently shaped rubber pads than the Leo, the overall track construction is also slightly different. However, the Leo tracks do fit the Abrams sprockets.

Gary, glad you like the video! The SU-100 has a huge casemate compared to tanks like the StuG, you should have no trouble fitting an airsoft unit and traverse mechanism inside.

The Leo 1 and 2 have different track widths. The Leo 1A4 tracks have more in common with the Pershing tracks, hence why Christian Ludwig used them for his Leo 1 kit.

You'll have to solder on the RF noise reducing capacitors to the motor terminals. Usually the rating is 0.01uF to 0.047uF, you can find these at an electronics surplus store or simply desolder them...
