I have been looking at websites on conversions. Most people use Ryobi. I'll check the local stores. I have both Big-Lots and Harbor Freight here close.

The engine is a OS .40 la. Bushings on the crank so it's weak. 11X5 APC prop. Wingspan is 48", fuse length is around 26-28". I have not weighed it so I'll guess around 3-4 lbs. All 4mil wing. ...

Funny you ask. I went to a local sign shop to ask for scraps. The owner said he made these signs and the customer never picked them up. I got them for $.50 ea.

Found the battery!! It was about 50ft from the impact site. Almost 90 degrees to the left of the line of flight/impact. That metal detector worked great.

Cut antenna wire....

Crashed yesterday and about 8-10 inches were severed from the rx antenna. Can the wire be replaced?

Red paint on prop and aileron servo wire.. motor stalled when it hit the ground. Didn't even break the prop.

Thanks RC, I will give it a try. I had the CG on the spar but I will use the calculator my next plane. I actually had to scrap that wing. More damage was found when I looked closer. Too heavy...

Yes, the fuse is shorter than specs called for, just experimenting. If my memory serves me correctly, 30" with a 48" wingspan. It's at home, I'm at work so I can't measure. My next one...

I thought that's what it was. I know from using zip ties that they stretch sometimes. Have you had any trouble with this? I have another wing that was using nylon bolts into the fuse so the holes...
