How about two A123 batteries straight into Spektrum AR9100 rx. Has a fail safe or soft switch. Rx takes two A123 batteries with no regulators. Easily support high load servos.

Is anyone using a set up like this. Two Packs of 2s a123 cells into a Formeco wolvorine swith into a Spekturm 9 rx. The switch would balance out the batteries but voltage without regulator initally...

Wrong,,,,,airspeed is airspeed and has nothing to do with ground speed. If a cub cruises at 75 knots of airspeed it can make circles all day in a 20 knot wind and always remain at 75 knots of...

Talk about dumb. I lost two planes this year that took off without wing bolts. Yes, not once but twice. The DX 7 should have bolt match so I fault the tx.

Well I will save exactly 20 bucks. I will always have a need for a low end rx on my banchee's etc. I have about 8 AR 7000's and just trying to cut a few bucks.

Can the 6200 be programmed for dual elevators and ailerons like the 7000? The 6200 has no aux 2 but I assume one could use the gear channel and 5 or 6 mix? No need for me to buy the 7 if I only...

With the test button on I get barely 30 paces if I point the antenna directly at the plane. Turn it a little and not a problem. This is on different planes. Anyone else experience this.

Mine are similar to your in all the planes with DX 7. One up top, one as low as possible and perpendicular with as much spread as possible.

A park sport regulator is rated to 3.5 amps and can be set for 6 or 5 volts http://www.dimensionengineering.com/ I am using a 7000 rx with dx7 Electric set up...

Horizon didn't conclude this was definately the cause but said it was possible. There was a guy at SEEF that hand launched a DX 7 system with antenna accidentally pointed down and it went into fail...

Programed one of my Hitec Digital servos for fail safe with the DX 7. The DX 7 fail safe has priority over the servo fail safe. Used the Hitec programmer to do this. You can program Hitec servos...

Anone have a problem with rx when powering up tx. I had tx close to rx and when I turned on the tx the controls went goofy. I moved back and repowered and all was well.
