Does anyone know if the Simstar controller from dave brown simulator will work with G3? i'm just wondering.

after reading your post again, i realized that you may be erraneous in your reasoning. I mean a trainer with the same engine and prop will NOT come close to 100 mph no matter what tach it is...

They are definately the same airplane, just the one has a newer redesigned box. My brother bought one from tower in about 1995...and i purchased one on ebay in 2001 which had newspaper from 89 in...

and guys...i had a near death experience with my US 40 original on it's maiden flight saturday after the engine quit doing a practice approach midfield about 30' off...
