The Avenger has a 64 " wing ( blue ) foam core.
The fuse is made from G 10 and Basswood...this combo is...

Simple and cheap to build.

As for the Combat Kan with an OS.25fx
MA 9x4 prop start by sliding the can until it touches the end of the pipe.
Back it off 1/8" start there and tach it. With 15%...

Now,
Put an MA 9x4 , up the Nitro to 15%, slap on a Kombat can and header retune the can for your elevation, and HANG ON...;)

Dont forget too add streamer just in case for drag.

Actually there are 2 towns that I know of that fly a modified OPEN C in Texas!
They use Avengers with .32 to .46 size engines for power. The wings are a standard 64" wingspan.

Depending on how much combat you fly you could get away with a wood dowel or no Leading edge support.
You can wrap the leading edge in Bidi tape. It works for awhile. Until the foam gets deformed...
