I cannot get my gt 40 to suck fuel from the tank, by flicking the prop. If I spray some fuel direct into the carb, and it starts, it manages to get the fuel through, and runs well after that.

Those with bearing problems, was it not maybe the carbon from the old laser-cut Green gasket that has since been replaced by stamped gaskets?
And can one buy standard bearings that fits?

Nu metal foil is not that expensive, and very effective. If you say it is magnetic field, I might as well try it more as a safeguard than anything else.

Waxes can kill your project.

It is Vital. I almost gave up on composites, why? waxes.
