OK, I still haven't bought that first build kit. I was just about to buy a 4* 40 when I saw something about the Somethin' Extra. I am curious if the SE is any more difficult to build than the 4*.

A newbie question: what do you usually use a 7th channel for? I've been looking at the 6 and 7 channel radios and I can't figure out what I would control with the 7th channel.

I am considering buying a Futaba 7CAP and I have a newbie question, so please forgive me. Am I right in assuming that Futaba transmitters will work with Hitec FM Rx's but not PCM RX's?
