Moki 180 Exhaust mounting bolt question

Hi all,

I have a Moki 180 and a Bisson Pitts muffler. However, I do not have the bolts that you need to mount the muffler on the engine. Does anyone know the size?

Thanks,

Bill

RE: Great planes ultimate 160

Just saw on Tower's website that this is now back to $399. I may have to get one now after a couple years of going back and forth on it.

RE: Sepulveda Basin

Wow, been away for awhile and it seems as if nothing has changed. I miss flying a ton, been busy with work, school, getting married and helping the wife as she is pregnant. I plan on getting out...

RE: Sepulveda Basin

Well, after a root canal on Thursday and some major family stuff over the weekend, I finally have some time to get to my engine. If it goes together fairly easy and everything turns out ok, I may...

RE: Sepulveda Basin

The new crankshaft arrived today. I won't have time to work on the engine really until Thursday. I should be able to get everything back together and ready for Friday. The only thing that has me...

RE: Sepulveda Basin

I was using an APC 18x6W and turning it at about 8600. Like I said, it has run fantastic over the past 2 1/2 years. Others are turning the same prop at about the same RPM with no probs either. It...

RE: Sepulveda Basin

I wish I new how it broke. I have had one, maybe two prop strikes, one lean run, and no other problems with the engine. The thing was running like a swiss watch all morning. On the last flight, it...

RE: Sepulveda Basin

Got the parts ordered (the crankshaft and new gaskets) and they should be here by Wednesday. Should be able to get to the field on Friday and the engine spun up (fingers crossed).

RE: Sepulveda Basin

Thanks for the info. Though it was the wrong engine, it did point me in the right direction for finding the right parts.

Hopefully, I will be able to get the engine back together and running...

I was wondering how to order a new cracnkshaft for my 160. It cracked right around where the back bearings are located. I got the engine apart and have the now two-piece cracnkshaft out. I cleaned...

RE: Sepulveda Basin

Well, I have good news and bad news about my Extra. The good news is that it is in one piece. The bad news is that it won't be flying for a little bit. The crankshaft on my 160 broke right below...

Sounds like that was a good competition this past weekend. I wanted to stop by and check it out, but I was in Santa Barbara doing stuff for my wedding in August. I should be out there this weekend,...

RE: Difference in 9C super

It has to do with the reciever that they are packaged with. The 9CHPS will have a PCM reciever and the 9CHFS will have an FM one. They can definitely run in either PPM or PCM mode. I have a 9CAPS...
