Nice setup and very tight linkage. But using a DS821?

Something I have noticed in the 171 pages of this thread is that many folks choose to use standard, plastic gear servos in critical areas...

You are correct... You have to wire power into the PS-050 through the black / red wires... No power is fed through the plug that goes to the Rx...

If no one has told you yet, keep the tail as light as possible... Even to the point of possibly removing some of the balsa sheeting... Sheet it, then route out the sheeting between the braces...

I've lost more than one airframe due to regulator failures... That's the main reason I switched to A123... One more failure point removed by taking out the regulators... Never tried un-regulated...

Nope...

I'm running A123's on Rx & Ign on my OMP Hybrid... Actually, I've switched to A123's on everything from my profiles to my 40% airplanes... It's all good...

I responded to this topic over on FG and said that the WH 41% Extra was my choice...

I have both the 41% WH Extra and the SD Models 40% Yak 54 in my hangar... I'd be hard pressed to pick one...

I never implied the DA-85 makes anywhere near the power of a BME-115... The 115 makes WAY more power...
