I still have mine from back when they came out. Used to run it with an astroflight 05 motor. It was fast but ran really hot. Then a couple years ago I put a 1500kv outrunner motor in and lipo bat....

Your motor has a 5mm shaft, so get a collet the same size and one that will connect to whatever size prop shaft you have.

Can probably find one here.

RE: Pulling the Trigger on Motley Crew - Could use assistance with add ons plz

I recently bought the new Proboat Blackjack 29 and am very happy with it. I just checked the tightness of the bolts and went out and ran it. Mine does 38 mph on two 2s 5000 batteries.

I would get an extra prop and a spare shaft. Also Allen wrenches, which you may already have. Do you have the appropriate battery connectors?

RE: Do I need a seperate harness if I have 5.5mm connectors??

If I understand, yes you can do that. That's what I and my fellow boaters do. Just don't plug a battery into another battery and short them out.

RE: Batteries

Lipos are way better and you need a charger specifically for them.

RE: Miss gieco batteries?

My understanding is that higher C rating will give higher speed, don't know how much more though. My friends and I all run 40C batteries and I have no experience with higher C ones.

RE: Miss gieco batteries?

Two 2s 40c 5000 batteries will work just fine. Hobbypartz has them for $28 each.

RE: Boat cuts out at just over half throttle

My guess would be 12 volt cutoff okay. Auto throttle range okay. I would choose soft start. No brake. Soft cutoff. Just guessing, 6-8 inrunner.

RE: UL-1 will not plane

My brother and I both put our strut almost all the way down, almost level with the strut bracket, punch the throttle and they really go. 45 mph with GPS.

Thanks. My friend's does 36 stock. He will be eager to try the prop you did. Good fix on the tight tube.

RE: Newbie needing advice on a boat

I remember when mine was brand new with new lipos it did 14 minutes before cutoff. Now I can hear the rpm's drop so I get it in before cutoff.

RE: Newbie needing advice on a boat

Mine does 32 mph according to GPS. I, and most others, use two 2s 5000 lipos. I get around 8 minutes run time.

No, but 2.4 is picky about clean power. It does not like voltage drops. There is a minimum voltage below which the receiver will reboot resulting in loss of control until the voltage recovers and...
