For the wheel pants is a very easy process.
Here is the chronicle of my experience with the wheel pants.
Cut them with the scissors, being sure you leave enough material to be sanded later....

That's true. I solved the problem using 2 larger nylon washers, one on the the top and one on the bottom of the elevator and rudder. It's holding pretty good.
