It's setup with Futaba 9ZAP Radio, 9351 digital servo's all round, 4 MSA-10 matchboxes, 6V 3300 NiMH Batt and GT-80 power.

I also have a TME smoke system, which is installed but not run yet.

I started out with JR years ago, then switched to Futaba and haven't looked back. I use the 9ZAP at the moment and will upgrade to the 14MZ very soon.

1-1/4" arms on, 40 degrees throw both ways....now I'm happy and just waiting for the weather to improve! :D

I ordered the 1-1/4" arms today.... the part i'm not looking forward to is getting the short arms off the servo's, they are on very tight and may need a gentle heat to get them off.

I have HD 1/2 (HAN3575) arms on the elevators and ailerons, and 3D-XL 1/2 (HAN3579) arms on the rudder.

Hi Mike,

I've followed the instructions for the Elevator linkages and can't get the right throws it seems without longer arms on the servo's, I've also had to wind the linkage on the elevator...

The problem is nothing to do with the voltage or fully charged batteries. From what I know so far, it's more to do with the signal racing up and down the extension cords and getting out of sync.

Does anyone else know/use this mount and know which servos they use ? They look like the JR Eagle servo's to me maybe ?

I just discovered these great carbon fibre mounts for the shockflyer/AXI brushless motor.

Not only do they look far better than the wood mounts, but they take a hard knock too!

Do you know when the Edge's are due in the UK ? The company here who imports Hanger 9 (Helgar Racing) tell me there were no Edge's on the latest shipment.
