RE: WHAT MAKES THE KYOSHO SO DAMN LIGHT?

They are considerably very much overpriced. Even the MBX5t is $100 cheaper!, and If you know mugen their quality is even higher than kyosho. I believe kyosho's suspension geometry and just how the...

RE: Finishing Revo What engine should I pick?

EB doesnt do such a decent job balancing the cranks. Get a modded 3.3 or TM just make it RB Mods or TNT Mods, both I trust, tnt I know balances the cranks. Modified traxxas engines are sweet, I kick...

Yah I did notice that its very close to chad's setup, but it didn't handle like the previous chad bradley setup I had. Good stuff.

RE: :: Official MBX5/Prospec Thread !!

RE: :: Official MBX5/Prospec Thread !!

Sure, it may not be suited for all tracks, I run on a hard packed small bumpy track, told to start with this setup, and I love it.

"Hey Caleb, Try this for a bumpy track:

Front:
shock...

RE: :: Official MBX5/Prospec Thread !!

I finally got a sick setup off of some guy at the starting grid forums, it is by far the best one yet, and makes driving the car much easier.
Was able to lay down some good laps sat at the track...

RE: Upgrading 3.3 servo's

5645mg is a better choice. 645mg is for those who like somewhat slow steering, I race with a 645mg only because it suites my driving steering. You don't need much torque when your racing, as you are...

RE: Traxxas wins again!!!

RE: Traxxas wins again!!!

Face it the Revo is a winning *****. Take a look at all the tracks across the globe, the revo's are always the majority, and almost always at the top.

I race a revo, and lst's tntx's savages,...

RE: OS V-Spec bearings questions and more

As Haulin Bass said. If your going with that engine replace the bearings, no matter if they are working or not, stock ones are sh*t, and OS should be ashamed of themselves. Great engine, but I'm...

RE: :: Official MBX5/Prospec Thread !!

Jeff thank you for the detailed reply, yes traction roll, thats the word. I've just started to get into 1/8th racing, I'm generally a revo racer, but since my gramps bought me this kit, I wanted to...

RE: :: Official MBX5/Prospec Thread !!

Yep your track is exactly like mine, how come you don't have the blue springs up front? I'd think it be easier to soak up all the bumps. But then again it would make it a little harder to jump. Would...

RE: Modded engines.....

David, one of the whole points of getting an engine modified, is having a Controllable power band, which is very evident in my modified p5x. The whole reason engines don't come modified as they are...

RE: :: Official MBX5/Prospec Thread !!

Calm down, wait until there is actually a press release. No one has sold info, and if they did, why isn't it in the mag's, btw their the first ones to hear just about anything.

RE: ws72 x3 rpm and hp

Dyno is nothing. A smooth powerband, will get you to the top. That's an excellent engine for top-mid end, but if you race on a short track get a p5x.
