I just mounted my DA 50 with 2 1/2" standoffs that gave a 1/16" clearance on the spinner backplate. I am also using a J-tech muffler that will be enclosed without any holes in the bottom cowl.

How did you make sure the flap hinge wire did not get epoxy on it going thru the hole in the flap horn

Did the suggestion of petroleum jelly work?

I have a 11x with a 921x Rx. I'm out of channels unless I purchase a 12 channel Rx, just trying to save 200 bucks on a 12 channel Rx ,by using a Y on the flaps

If you install the flaps servos per page 9 para 14 (repeat steps 1-13 for the left wing panel), one of the flap servos will need to be reversed. Let me know how you did it with a Y...
