ron sent me a new pickup sensor to replace my broken in shipping one. i have the motor mounted up on the plane and hope to crank and fly this weekend. i will be running a xoar 17x6 prop for break-in....

i just received mine and the engine looks very nice. the pickup on the motor is broken and i haven't heard back from them yet.

i beleive you guy's are right. i think i will just leave the factory muffler on. it is a xyz 26cc engine. the muffler look's like a weedeater muffler with a single outlet on it. just for curosity....

i'm leaning towards the xyz engine. i just am not sure about the muffler that comes with it. i am curious as to how the crrc engine does in your p-47. keep us posted.

DO YOU THINK A 16X10 WOULD BE THE BEST FOR THIS ENGINE? the plane will weigh about 12 to 13 lbs and i'll be looking for speed.

I am thinking about ordering one of the 26cc engines. i can't decide between the crrc or the xyz engine. the crrc is $200 delivered and i think they have a little nicer looking muffler. i don't know...

yes i do. i set them by it and one blade is still lower than the other. must be a bent feathering shaft. i'm going to take it apart tonight.

i'm having trouble getting my blades to track correctly. i have moved the linkage on the slave blade in out and everywhich way with no difference. the slave blade tracks about 3/8's to 1/2 inch lower...

i just wanted to let everyone know that i have been spraying my whole head and linkage down with silicone spray. it's unbelieveable how much smoother everything works. i also spray the belt to soften...
