more then two years after we start the mock-up build we almost finish the main mold.

next step is to mold the first plan - 1\6 scale of SR 71 Jet

As For the difficulty to build it AS RC & Flew it -Agree . i'm awear of that - really chalange

estimated Lenght will be 4.01 Meter

Modeling based On Solid works & Cimatron CAD System

detailed of the model based on 3 pictures & one...

it will be ~ 1/8 scale ( 1.8-2.0 meter length , ~ 6-10 Kg weight)

the profiles will use for mockup building only (so it can be heavy) , then i will build the mold based on it.
i need it strong & to prevent banding it must be thick
currently i have suggestion...

Hi Guys

i just finish all preparation for laser cutting & like to know what is the prefred wook to use for this job ?
profiles are pretty big ~2.5 m wide
i plan to use ~ 10 mm thick
