gear box melted...

With the introduction of a brushless motor, the transmission internals on my older XXX-T have melted in place...bearings get too hot, melt the plastic, and become off center and that causes binding...

XXX-T transmission

Rear wheels locked up. I opened the case and found the top metal gear melted to the plastic case. Its the one that has a shaft going to the spur gear. bearings look good. I'm runnin a fiego 8s...

That's pretty funny that you mention Gorilla glue. I happen to have a bottle of that at work, very nice! I just dont like the yellow color that it dries to. Oh well i guess. thanks

hey i just got a battery charger: team integy indi 16x3v2.5
has anyone used this charger? it says on the side of it "for almost any race pack up to 3000mah." it doesnt say anything regarding that...

i honestly dont have a clue what type of solder i used. i dont have a jig and couldnt figure out what to use for one so i just did without one. the solder was pretty thin so it didnt flow too bad. ...
