RE: My First Engine Mods...

My post was mainly intended to keep newbies from trashing their engines by trying to duplicate other experimenters. The main gains to be had on a sport engine are on the sleeve and crank window. Keep...

RE: My First Engine Mods...

My 2 cents-
unless you know how to rebalance a crankshaft correctly, just port the sleeve and call it finished. Knife edging the rod isn't required either. Just the humble opinion of a...

RE: OFFICAL MUGEN MST-1 SITE

Was told 2 weeks ago by a Mugen sponsored driver that the MST-1 is still very much alive and being manufactured with an updated version coming in the future.

FYI- an MST-1 took 1st in the 30...

RE: Official RC10GT Thread

Check the items J Bone mentioned and you may also want to go back and seal up the engine around the carb, backplate and high speed needle. Once hot, the engine could be sucking air at one of these...

RE: Official RC10GT Thread

The RB Concepts engine should have all the power you'll need if it's in good shape. As far as longevity, I haven't a clue.

FYI-
If your interested, the Sirio Drake Edition engine is part #...

RE: os .12 cvr What plugs?

Stay with a short plug like the mentioned OS #8 or Fox blaster short "hot". The mc59 is really a bit too long for this engine and will raise the compression too much. The use of anything longer than...

I have two Holy Smoke 40's..... one built and one still in the box(fresh from the 1980's). I have nothing but good things to say about the durability and handling. Will fly like a bullet with a good...

RE: Slipper Clutch

When running pavement or high grip surface, you want it tighter than usual but not really cranked all the way down. You always want the slipper to slip before the diff does. Here's the simplest way...

RE: OK, RC10GT Owners, quick question...

That's a nice pipe in that link for sure but way overpriced. The pipe that comes with the factory team truck is a bottom-end pipe. You need a top-end pipe with the power of an .18. Your cheapest...

RE: different connectors. help

I believe he means he has the BEC style connectors. The BEC male will plug into the standard female, but the male standard obviously won't plug into the female BEC connector. The polarity should be...

RE: ball cups!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRR

Basically.......when I pop them off, I replace. Especially if it's a race vehicle. I normally just use my hands to pop loose if necessary. If it's just a basher it's not a big deal to just pop it...

RE: T/A RC 10 GT RTR servos

Someone else may chime in as they like on this, but I believe your correct in assuming the hitec and hobbico arms will interchange. If you do happen to buy a new hitec servo, it will come with arms...

RE: how do you get your tires off once glued?

Yo tick67 ! To painlessly remove those tires, just turn your oven to 325 degrees and lay the wheels/tires on a cookie sheet. Use a piece of waxpaper between the tires and the pan..... or better yet,...
