i had to send mine back two times, i finally bit**ed out there reps and they sent me a new engine. So far no air leaks. (crosses fingers)

on my first conversion i used an esc with the brake shut off and had a y-connector between the esc and throttle servo which was still hooked to the brake. on this conversion i am using a single speed...

with the way these engings work would it be possible to make a special carb with just a main jet aka throttle body and build a contoll board for a little pump to add more fuel as the rpm's inclrease ...

the best thing about converting a t-maxx to ele is that if done right you still have the 2-speed tranny. My T-maxx with a 15 turn motor and 4000mah battery keeps up with my friends 2.5r maxx
