RE: Newbie Help for Ultrastik 40

The engine choise is mainly personal preferance. I mounted a saito 72 on my ultrastick, and went through alot of props. I would break them on landing. The O.S. 46AX wouldn't be a bad choise. I think...

RE: New here and determined to learn right this time!

Real Flight is a terrific starting point. Thats what I learned on. I would sit and just do patterns for hours. When the time came to fly my trainer, I started on the buddy box, and two flights later...

RE: Tower vs Futaba and computer radio

Go with a simple computer 6 channel. You may not think you need all the functions, but once you have them, you will wonder how you ever got along with out them.

The 150 had a 100HP continental, and the 152 a 110 HP lycoming.

RE: Warbirds, harder to fly/land than sport planes?

Warbirds are more challanging than your typical trainer or sport model. Higher wing loading, typically tail drager. But not all are a major handfull. You could go with something like a T-28, with its...

RE: Two Stroke VS four Stroke

A comparable 4-stroke would be a .91. I redomend the saito, but i'm biased. I just love em.:D

RE: Good engine .40 or .46

I would go with the O.S.46AX. I own a couple of these and love them. If your looking at the magnum engines, they offer pretty good bang for the buck. Though I personally would choose
the O.S....

RE: What size 4 Stroke for a 40 size trainer?

I would recomend a O.S. 46AX two stroke for a trainer due to its power, ease of use, and most importantly, the price. Now if you have your heart set on a fourstroke, I would go with a saito .56. It...

RE: SIG Kadet LT-40 Arf fix issue

Syed,
I would go with the patern of the original fire wall. If the aircraft flew well before, then stick to the original.
Good luck.
