i only 3d flat foamies but i always set my cg to be neutral inverted and normal. i also make sure it doesnt tuck or pull out of a power off vertical downline

actually, the manual for the cub states that the struts are needed and provide support for the wing. they're even functional on the little hobbyzone supercub.

i'm not doubting you but maybe you just got a bum one, arfs are the luck of the draw most times and pnp adds to the variables. i havent noticed any flex in my airframe but i glued mine together. ...

if any one is interested, the hangar 9 part for the 1/4 scale cub works fine, you just have to open up the holes on the strut and mount to 1/8. its not really opening up but more like shaving it a...

i was actually looking at hitches for it today for when i get my 50cc bird. its rated to 950lbs so i'm sure a small open trailer will be pulled around fine.
