Hey YNC,

Could you please post your setup to come at 16.5lbs? I think that is pretty good weight for this plane. Did you use any CF parts? if so where did you get them?

WOW, their site says weight from 14-16lbs with BME 50....... I wonder how they got to that...

You are correct, it will be probably my main airplane and one of no more than 4 at any given time so the break even curve is different for me.

Thats just me Cheech, sometimes weird people do weird things!!! I am sure yours flys awesome.

Anyhow, the moki 1.8 is apparently the perfect fit if going glow but I wonder if the work good...

Same planes, just bigger...... Probably in the 74-84" wingspan and over 12 pounds. ;)

As for a new plane, what about a Glassair or something along those lines but bigger than 60" wingspan..........

We did it primarily with a heat gun and a little bit of Iron/trim iron. The finish is now beautiful, looks like glass.

Just the opposite here. We started building a GP Lancair that had some wrinkles on (not excesive but noticeable) and after about 1 hour of heat gun/iron the covering looks like glass... not one...
