RE: Sterling Ringmaster

They may have folded the wings in a verticle landing, but, they were easy to put back together. I have had both versions of the Ringmaster and could not see a difference in flying. It would be nice...

RE: TOPFLITE ARF "Nobler" tips and mods?

The clunk tank will work when set up properly. The tank that comes with the kit is plenty big for Fox 35 Stunt. DOC Holliday

RE: Old Fuji .049 glow engine

In my experience the .049 engines that were not made with a glow head like Cox used short reach open face glow plugs. The long reach plugs can be used with extra washers under them. Do not even try...

RE: Cleaning gas residue from early 60's plastic control planes

If I were you I would try some of your wifes dish washing detergent. Just let it soak for a couple of hours in a stronger than normal mix. Might have to use a toothbrush on it also. Make sure...

RE: Flaps on a Flite Streak?

I can still remember when the Flite Streak came on the market. We put the hottest combat engine on them that we had. Not room for a big enough tank. Also they would maneuver like crazy. Also what...

RE: Sterling P-38's

I remember the Sterling kits very well. Sure the die cutting left a little to be desired. But, consider making the templates and cutting the parts from scratch. We also had Ambroid, Comet, Testors...

You need to contact Jim Thomerson or Lou Crane to find out about diesels. I only used them for F2C competition. They both have flown them at the VSC in Tuscon. DOC Holliday
