RE: Great planes ultimate 160

I haven't seen any Ultimate videos here for a while so I decided to publish short video from yesterday. You can see some wing rocking on harrier and elevators and hopefully I can get rid of it with...

RE: Great planes ultimate 160

I tried Menz 22x8, 22x10 and 23x8. 23x8 is definetely _the_ prop to this bird if You are flying 3D. Ground clearance is about 1" but in our field it has been enough. It hovers and climps out of it...

RE: Great planes ultimate 160

Hi,
I think that Saito 180 + APC 18x6w with 30% fuel generates over 7 kilos of static thrust and if build this bird lite it weights around 6 kg. I think that it will fly well with nice vertical...

RE: Great planes ultimate 160

I agree that torquerolling looks much cooler but unfortunately to me it is little bit too challenging if I don't have bird in full control when hovering. I need to try 23x8 prop instead of 22x8 for...

Yes, that is the only way how to land my Gee Bee, at my club the Kyoshos Gee Bee Z lands exactly the same way. The grass is little bit long in that landing but usually it goes like that. It has great...

RE: giles 202 90

I think that ST 90 suits fine for this plane, I can get 8800 rpm (prop APC 15x6) with my Saito and if you get over that with ST you will have enough vertical performance. I would like to have a...

RE: GP GeeBee Troubles (light crash)
