RE: Parkzone Typhoon 3D ?

To get into a flat spin is tough, but comming out is easy with this plane. Just let go of the sticks and it comes out. Then flip it over and you are out. I got a little low the other day, and didn't...

RE: Typhoon 2 by ParkZone

Yep, I have used both props. I can get it to hang at about 85 to 90% throttle. It sure doesn't leave much left for a pull out. I found that when I fly at really high elevation about 8500 ft that the...

RE: Typhoon 2 by ParkZone

I have balanced my phoon now and it is pretty fun to fly. My problem is it really doesn't have enough power to pull out of a hover for my altitiude. I fly at about 6500 ft. Has anyone upgraded to an...

RE: Typhoon 2 by ParkZone

I bought a typhoon 2 about 2 weeks ago. I got the rtf and decided to try it out at a local high school football field. I was using the stock radio, and it flew ok. I find that it stalls quick on the...

RE: Good 3d epp foam plane

Thanks for the tips guys. I have looked at the super zoom. It just looks like you need to find carbon fiber to replace the aluminum. The e-foamies look like nice planes. Decisions, decisions- hmm...

RE: Good 3d epp foam plane

Thanks Victory, that is one nice looking plane. Do you know what kind of material it is made out of? I didn't find that in the site you gave me.

Good 3d epp foam plane

I have been looking around for an epp foam 3D plane. I want to fly with 1350tp batteries. Any ideas on what is working well in this range? I fly at high elevation, so weight is a definite...

RE: Parkzone Typhoon 3D ?

Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if the esc was a 20 or 25 amp. I want to save some money on lipos, but I also don't want to end up burning down the plane.

RE: Parkzone Typhoon 3D ?

I am sure this has been done somewhere in this post, but does anyone know how many amps the PNP typhoon is pulling at full throttle with the 3D prop. I want to order one of these little planes, but...

RE: RCU Builders come together to build Pitts!

Hi all, I read through these posts for 18 pages. I know all the build pieces are taken and that is fine. I just want to support the project with a small cash donation. Not much, but could whoever...

RE: purchasing the BCP bell hiller in separate parts

The bearings fit tight, and there isn't much to tap on to get the first bearnig out. Once the first bearing is out it is pretty easy to remove the next two. You just need to be careful to make sure...

RE: purchasing the BCP bell hiller in separate parts

I purchased the separates, and they worked fine. It is a pain to get the bearings out of the old grips, but with a little work it can be done. It is probably best to start with the whole kit, and...

RE: E-FLIGHT BLADE CP

Kiski, the constipated look will leave at some point. Then as you start to do tricks, the P-factor will hit. This is when you almost crash and pucker up to the point you are sucking p-gravel up. :D

RE: E-FLIGHT BLADE CP

Tom, If you want to save the money on the blade-hiller, just get the two parts. If you have the 3 bearing grips, then you have everything you need. It may take a little longer to set the heli up,...

RE: Bell-Hiller for Blade CP has arrived...

Hi all, I got hold of a bell-hiller and wow it is great. I went to my LHS which is 180 mi away and was just going to pick up some replacement parts. They had one set of grips and the set of swivels...

RE: Now Im Scared

I would agree with the addiction. I am mostly a plane flyer, but decided to get a blade CP. It is a ball and I am already looking at the Trex. I have about 10 planes, so now I wonder how many...

RE: "Welcome To Club BLADE"

Hi all, another new blade cp flyer. I got mine a few days ago and find it to be a blast. I was about 4 batteries into flying before I had my first crash. I had the little cp in a tail in hover on...

RE: What is the most expensive plane that you have crashed?

I didn't crash this plane, but was at the field the day a friend lost radio contact with his jet. It went about a mile out and landed in the bottom of a ditch under a big thorny bush. It took 5 of...

RE: Funtana 90!

I have an F-90 with a BME 25 gas in it. That means I am flying one of the heaviest F-90 out. I also fly at 6200 ft of elevation so have very thin air. It won't 3-D due to the power weight problem,...

RC Transmitter and Pacemaker Interference

My father got a pace maker a few month ago. Before he had this installed, we took a JR 631 radio into the hospital and let the doctor check it with the pace maker. We found no problems with it...
