The Flaps are hinged under the trailing edge of the wing, they are not Fowler, more like variable camber.

This happened to me at a IMMA fly in almost lost the Plane.
Plane was stored in my Garden shed for the summer I always bring them in the Winter.

Was in storage for a number of years, cleaned it up installed 2.4 and rework the 60cc King...

The plans are for the J-3 Piper Cub only. I made a CD of the finished model after Bob had passed away.
Bob did not have plans for the L-4 conversion . Bob used some Piper drawings...

You may not be aware, I have the original Mylars for Bob's Cub. I also have a number of the Cub Decals.
Bob's model weighed 32 lbs. I helped out on the test flights, back in 1980....

The undercarriage was made from 4130 Steel tubing and Silver...
