Flew my WH Ultimate and DA50 today, now this engine has had about 2 gall through it now and needles have been adjusted to give good transition, and slightly rich top end.

Had the same problem myself yesterday on landing my WH Ultimate.... touched down slightly heavily, only for the gear to flex far enough causing me to catch a aileron (1 5945 stripped) and broken prop...

I use Hitec 5945's and 5925's on all my gas /large scale aircraft....

Never had a problem..... but have had problems with Futaba, and will not touch them at all.

Exactly why i have never bought a YS, and dont intend to either, i mean unless your really needing the power (competition etc) why go to this trouble of new rings?????

That sounds like the problem... what about the option of changing out the 5945's for 5625's as they are probably overkill any how on the ailerons?
Is that likely to make any change to the fault, or...

No.

Only time it will stop is if you disconnect the other servo from the "Y" lead. Had a Nib 5945 and stuck that on... still the same, changed reciever, now both top ailerons are doing it. You...

Hi Guys.

Got a weird fault with the top left aileron servo hunting all the time on my WH Ultimate. This is without the engine even running!

Plane has had about 7 flights with no issues till...

Could be flooded.

Did this with mine, till i learnt to just choke her and flip till she pop's, then choke off... should start 2-3 flips later.

Dry or change the plug, and follow above.

If the geometry is not correct, it will flex.... set it up correctly and you will have no problems.
