RE: HEY! LET'S BUILD A SPEED PLANE!!!

You bring back memories of when I did this. Lets not say how long ago, lol. Mine was a little larger, with a cheap engine, and still did over 100 mph. Remember the most important thing,,, CG... have...

RE: ST 2300

I have an offer to buy one of these G2300 NIB, at a pretty good price, but wasn't there a carb problem, as I have only heard this, don't own one yet. And if replaced, is it the Perry that is...

RE: MDS 1.48

[size=3]I just got one NIB 1.48 from a guy but it has the C-1 carb. What do you think would do better the C-2 or a Perry with a pump? I saw from Horizon where the C-2 is only like $29.

RE: Webra 1.20 Problems

So thats probably a tad bit stronger than my Webra 1.20, even with the tuned pipe ?
Since the exhaust are the same, how do you think the MDS will do with the tuned pipe from the Webra on it? Should...

RE: Webra 1.20 Problems

Just out of curiosity, what muffler are you using, and on the APC 17-6, what rpm do you get out of it.

Thanks,

RE: Webra 1.20 Problems

Hi Bob,

Looks like I'm back to my same old problem again. You were most helpful last time, so I thought I would give it another try. This is the Webra 1.20 with integral pump, we concluded last...

RE: MDS 148 and three carb test

Scientifically speaking, what would make an engine hate nitro. I accept what you have told me, but my engineering profession naturally brings scientific questions to mind. Could it be compression...

RE: MDS 148

Do you have to tap and thread the back housing to do that, I would doubt that the engine would come with one right ?
I am fixing to purchase a 1.48 from a guy, advertised NIB, but a little leary,...

RE: 3 Blade Prop for Moki 2.1

I'm just curious, you probably know, but Moki claims their prop, Moki 20 X 10 will generate the most thrust. What is your opinion on that. I have a 2.10 on a GP 1/3 Pitts, that I haven't finished...

RE: Webra 1.20 Problems

I have since put a Scimitar wood 16 X 6 and rpm jumped to 10,700. This was without changing the pipe length anymore. I realize I should start over to establish a new point, open...

RE: Down thrust on pitts

In response to PITT-MAN Read your response about the 22 X 8 prop and the Moki. Let me mention that I broke the engine in on the ground (not on the plane) with the actual MOKI prop, its a 20 X 10....

RE: Webra 120 question???

Hey guy,

I had the same situation with my new 1.20. Even after about 3/4 gallon , when the engine was cool I had absolutely no compression. I noticed when hot it had a little more. So as an...
