RE: adrenaline 120 conversion to gas engine

RE: DA / DL observation

I am the kind of guy who calls a spade a spade, my words are from my experience with the DA and DL/DLE engines. I dont really care if I upset the DA fanboys but people have to realise that sometimes...

RE: DA / DL observation

The problem DA face over the DL and DLE is power, the DA are just not that powerful, I do not own a 60 and perhaps it is an ok power'd engine but no matter how you want to sugar coat it every 88/89...

RE: YS 110 FZ OR OS 120 AX For ESM Adrenaline?

The YS is a descent engine but remember its people that make them over-rated, and they are the YS fanboys. I sold mine and thought they were ok engines but did not have the raving power people say...

RE: YS 110 FZ OR OS 120 AX For ESM Adrenaline?

For once I agree with you Thumby!! the 110 is the most over-rated engine ever made!!! I had two of them but would go the AX over it every day of the week!!

RE: What seperates the diffrent typs of 3D Birds

Profiles are the ugly birds which look like a piece of 1/2inch timber cut to the profile of a plane and then with the wing bolted on. Mojo Pics

RE: What seperates the diffrent typs of 3D Birds

I would not recommend a profile, 3DHS fatties are a better choice and go the electric flavour, profiles are sooooo yesterday!!! they are PITA to store and get to and from the field. The very best 3d...

RE: Ignition Battery Voltage Question

NiMh is not a bad technology, but there are simpler technologies out there these days, I have lost more Nicd and Nimh cells than A123 or LIFE cells. Yes I have been using them for a shorter amount...

RE: EF Chin Yak engine/servo setup help

Thumbskull the Supertigre is known for its power when coupled to a descent pipe, the OS 55 will not respond as well to a pipe, the OS is also no powerhouse and requires a ridiculous plug to be...

RE: Ignition Battery Voltage Question

The nonsense comes from this->

The dis-advantages to Nimh are as such...

1) Nimh is dated technology
2) Nimh requires maintenance, i.e. discharging for maximum output
3) Nimh are...

RE: 3D airframe for Saito 82

Then why do the bros bash arf's such as the Aeroworks profiles, they are not 3d powerhouses but they fly well and are built for the 80% of people not really interested in 3d. Just tell it like it is...

RE: 3D airframe for Saito 82

Yes I did not think that you were, the showtime is not a bad plane its just old and heavy, I dont like it because I had to put a tonne of weight in the front, it should have been designed better,...

RE: 3D airframe for Saito 82

Windy, your a reasonalble dude, I said it would not be a 3d machine but it will 3d, if you put a bigger motor in the showtime it will make a bad plane even worse.

RE: 3D airframe for Saito 82

Simple as this, you may not be able to 3d with that engine but a better pilot may, I do not get you Americans, do you want him to put a DA upfront there.

RE: 3D airframe for Saito 82

The showtime will 3d with an 82, it will not be a 3d powerhouse but it will do it, no real need to beef up the undercarriage, just land it correctly!!

RE: ELECTRONICS SETUP on GAS PLANE
