Nice pictures flyranger. Eventually, I want to purchase a parkflyer too so that way I can fly around during the week and experiment using floats and skis. I'll leave the glow plane for the weekends.

Great 411 you guys. Looks like I can get this stuff at a hardware store or pepboys. Mikefuture said Corrosion X where can I find that?

I have a ton of respect for you guys flying in single digit temperatures. Once I join a club and get solo certified I'll probably be flying on my own for the most part, especially in the winter....

I remember reading somewhere on rcu that using transmission fluid works for after run oil, is this correct? If so do I drop a few drops into the carb and what type of transmission fluid should I use.

Yeah, I'm thinking about building a spad3d. Looks really neat and sturdy oh did I mention cheap too. My airplane is an extremely old hobbico asap cessna 182 arf series it's approximately 12-13yrs...

I'm gonna weigh my airplane on a scale. I was thinking 7lbs might be more than the actual weight so I'll have to check to make sure.

Thanks for the 411 and optimism, after reading all the negative remarks on magnums I was starting to get worried. Looks like I need to purchase a prop rpm meter.
