RE: Some issues with my R50 Titan help is appreciated

Do not bolt the heli down to check tracking!!

Fix the vibration and tracking problems first then get your tail boom problem fixed, then you will be able to properly adjust your tail and gyro.

RE: Binding TX to RX battery packs

You can use the 7cell pack for binding but I wouldn't power up any servos with it. It would be best to just find a old 4 or 5 cell pack. No more than 5 cell pack to power std. servos. It doesn't have...

RE: Blades

I've seen (no it wasn't me) a spindle bolt come out and both blades leave the heli while in idle up doing 3-d.
Now that was funny!!!!!

RE: R90 ADVICE!

You don't need the pull-pull but it is easier on the servo to have it since you balance out the load. The tail servo on the boom does get nasty but if you keep it clean you shouldn't have a problem....

RE: Tail rotor blade size for a 50 sized nitro heli.

The 95's will work fine for the 600. Most 90 flyers use a 100mm to 105mm. I think the Align blades are 95mm for the 600.

RE: GP Rimfire motors?

I promise you it's easy to fry the motor, even if you don't exceed the specs.

RE: GP Rimfire motors?

That is why I questioned the replacement motor they sent me. I thought the 35-30-1450 would be hard on the 35amp ESC. For the GP Edge I would perfer the 1250 motor and the bigger prop (10x7). After...

RE: GP Rimfire motors?

Ya'll are correct. Sorry about that but I didn't look up the chart until after Dr Kiwi told me it was the wrong prop. I just misread the chart. Hobby services was the ones that told me to run that...

RE: GP Rimfire motors?

Dr Kiwi, Thanks for your response. As for me being at fault on the 4600, I don't think so. GP recommends the 9x6 on 4 cells and the 12x6 on 3 cells. Here is the link: ...

GP Rimfire motors?

Is anyone flying a Rimfire GPMG4595 in a aerobatic plane? If so, are you doing any 3-d and not cooking the motor?
I have a GP Edge 540 with a 4595 Rimfire, 35a ESC and flying on 3cell 2100mah...

RE: Is it my clutch?

The blue booms are hard on the clutch, next time get the red ones. LOL!

The liner looks pretty good for how bad the clutch looks, did you put a liner in recently? Either way, replace both and...

RE: Oh Crap. Is This A Problem?

Like BH said, you don't have to fix it but you will be limited in what you can do. You won't be able to fly anyone else's heli or help someone learn to fly later on, unless you set up their heli...

RE: Raptor 30 upgrade

For a 50 you should use 600mm to 620mm blades. Where you read about using the "short boom for hot dogging", that is not the 30 boom. There are 2 size 50 booms, the v-2 boom, which was made for 600mm...

RE: Pitch Servo

I'd go with the 6965 on a 50. I have it on my 600n for the cyclic and collective and it works great.
I have a Raptor 50 with 5625's on the collective and cyclic and it works fine also if you want...

RE: Raptor 30 Main Rotor Blades

Yes, it is a heat shrink covering and it needs to be tight. Just like airplane covering it will loosen over time and need to be heated up. Do not remove it, the wood will soak up all the oil from the...

RE: Where not to buy parts

www.grandrc.com ships the same day usps priority from CA and I have my stuff in 3 days in VA. I've actually ordered from there on a Saturday morning and got my stuff that Monday. Ricks is also fast.

RE: First Heli Raptor vs Trex

I would recommend the Raptor Titan. I agree with the previous post, if you want a Raptor 60, then get the Raptor 90. If you want a 50 size heli, the Raptor is a very easy to set up and repair and...

RE: Fresh to RC helis, is t-Rex too much??

The Blade 400 is by E-flight, not Align. Align is the maker of the Trex.

RE: Raptor 50 or 30

Get the 50. You will never out grow having a 50 around, a 30 is fine but it will lack power and you will spend money down the road to convert it or replace it. Spend a little extra now or alot...

RE: Kasama or Mavrikk

I have 2 of both, the kasama is better. I've had the bearings come apart on the mavrikk and you can feel some end play slop in the Mavrikk. The Kasama's have been fine.

RE: Tail Wag

I'm not sure about the capablities of the 6exh but the gain is the single wire off the gyro, probably plugged into ch.5. A gy401 does not have a gain adjustment on the gyro, it is done on the tx....

RE: governor

The multigov is a good governor and easy to set up. It is as good as a GV-1, although I wouldn't say it is much better. I have a Multigov, 2 GV-1's and a Align and they all work fine and never had...

RE: Main Rotor Tracking

Make the adjustments like techrtr said. I set my pitch at 0 degrees at mid stick, then rotate the head without touching the tx stick and set the other blade at 0 degrees, then set my pitch curve from...
