RE: My 8ight just murdered two servos, but HOW?

did you do the 'losi fix' flaming tire?

A friend burned up a few servos that were of poor quality, then he got an ace 1313 (better than the others he was using anyway) and he hasn't had a problem....

RE: Two types of people at a track. My Newbie observation

at least you didn't assume right?

I just think some people are whiny *****es and can't take criticism very well. Thats the kind of crap women do, make a big deal out of nothing.
I've never...

RE: Two types of people at a track. My Newbie observation

I agree 100 percent. I run to every car I marshall. I've never been yelled at marshalling during a race, but I've seen it happen. I've been on the poor side of marshalling sadly, but I just shake my...

RE: Engine die after pit stop

does it die right away, or do you get a half lap/lap in before it dies?

If it doesn't die right away/everytime does it lean bog for several laps afterwards?

RE: fix or replace?

I've also gotten dents out with ice.

Make sure you keep an eye on it, it could split the pipe if you aren't careful.

RE: My 8ight just murdered two servos, but HOW?

Losi 1.0 cars are notorious for eating throttle servos, do some research around the net and you'll find the fixes. Losi even released addendum to their manual I believe.

a popular fix now that the...

RE: Need to be faster pitting for friend

seriously get another guy to help out, split the work between two guys. It'll increase the quickness of the pit stops without having to purchase a fuel gun. I see plenty of 'fast enough' pit stops...

RE: Need to be faster pitting for friend

not to be a kill joy, but I certainly wouldn't do this. People make mistakes, sometimes they aren't quite square with jumps, etc etc. This guy could end up hitting somebody who is already pitting a...

RE: Need to be faster pitting for friend

When you're in the pit lane, ask the guy next to you if he minds assising with yourpit stop. Most of the time guys are cool with that, they'll ask what time he is coming in at, to make sure it...

RE: Which servo

If you do get a servo that fast, you can also run a negative value steering exponential to helpout big time, otherwise that seems really fast!

I runexpos on .10-.13 speeds.

RE: Two types of people at a track. My Newbie observation

Yeah, lets not forget the other side to this whole deal.

Some people are just very sensitive, and may view additional advice as insult.

If you ask advice from a top driver at your track and...

RE: Xray XB8 Parts Compatible with 808?

Which version is it? The original XB8?or is it the TQ or EC?

Either way those were really tough buggies. It depends what you want to do with it, my 808 handles better than my TQ did. The TQwas a...

The 808 buggy is quite a bit different from the XB8/TQ/EC.

RE: Discuss different club level and higher competition level buggies

yeah his D8 wasn't the same as the one you get in the box. He had tweaked it pretty heaviliy, including some parts you couldn't even buy at the time.

RE: How to stay cool at races

At first glance on this topic I thought you meant how to stay cool 'mentaly' at a race. Like when you hear that you're on a TQ pace, or that you're in 1st with 5 to go.

I agree they are awesome. Everyone I know re-uses them, and a few have said they're better after one tires worth of use is "on" them, so to speak.

I only have a couple of runs on my first set, but...

RE: OS 21VG?

You have PM foamy.

I agree 100 percent, you should always use a heat gun to break in an engine. Its not a bad idea to do before starting one period, even after break in. As far as quality engines...
