RE: just switched to 30% nitro....

Something I'm starting to notice about my Plastic Spur with the Collari, is that it's melting just on the inside of the slipper pad.
I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this?[&:]

RE: LOOKING FOR MIDTANK CONVERSION INFO

Mach51 wasn't saying that. If you read the post you'll see that he is talking about the tank relocation.
The reason you don't get the mid tank lean out with that conversion is that the tank is...

RE: rotostart or pullstart

True, with the P/S you have ONE less think to carry around.
But a R/S makes life a lot easier, especially since our engine's are very sensitive to the current weather conditions. You can have it...

If you used Lock-tite no. But sometimes things get loose. So you should at least check it every now and then.[8D]

RE: I'm new to nitro cars, and want to know which car is best for me.

If your not comfortable building a kit, get the S25. It will get you going pretty quickly. But you will eventually break something, and have to take it apart to fix it.
If can can handle it get...

RE: just switched to 30% nitro....

It looks like your problem is the fact that that is not A hardened steel CB. The Robinson Hardened Spur needs to be run with it's bell. I have both of Robinsons' Spurs sitting in my tool box, since I...

RE: savage rtr steering question

I would get the Cam Style Servo Saver from HPI, if you don't have it already. And upgrade the steering servo. The Hitec 645MG is good if you don't plan on "upgrading" the truck, but I would get their...

RE: Dual Disk work then they dont!!!

I've had the same problem. The best, and easiest, fix is to get a pair of machine screws that are 2mm longer. No CA needed. The reason that they strip, is that the coarse thread screws grab less...

RE: Hop Ups Fitted so far on Savage SS

I see that your well on your way to Alu Heaven. GPM makes some really nice stuff, I would also suggest Hardcore Racing and New Era Models. STAY AWAY from Integy. The only thing that they have worth...

RE: BEHOLD COLLARI .30 !!!!!!!!!! THE NEW BIGBOY

I use cords off what ever PS I can get my hands on cheap. The HPI Big Block PS has the best cord though. The trick to keep them alive a bit longer is to loosen the plug 1/2 turn before you yank. And...

RE: Are these shocks any good?

As far as shocks go, the HPI stock ones are the best. But if you want some BLING get the HPI Alu. ones. I've had the Integy (Junk), and HB (OK at best) versions with lots of problems.
And I only...

RE: Which Wheelie Bar??

I've been running the New Era one for a while now. And I can tell you that I abuse the hell out of my truck, and have yet to bend it. My only problem was losing one of the wheels after after a bad...

RE: BEHOLD COLLARI .30 !!!!!!!!!! THE NEW BIGBOY

Well I finally had a chance to run since Eric sent me my new Silver HSN. I did have to lean it out from 8 turns to 4.5 turns. Now it sits just below the housing, and the LSN is much more responsive....

RE: Time to upgrade my Savage .25 motor!

Do you realy think that the 24.7 Pro is a better engine than the Collari .30?
I've never had an engine that's as revv happy as the collari. And it's power out put is just insane.:D

RE: Hump Pack Question

I was looking at a few of your other posts, and it looks like you may end up getting a few high powered servos for your Savvy. I'd get the Orion 1400Mah Hump pack....

RE: Servo's

You can use any servo with the stock radio. But a good digital radio like a JR XS3, will let you take better advantage of what some of these servos can do, beyond killer torque.
I'd get the Hitec...

RE: Who has the new 3 speed?

Hey Frost,
I'm running with the New Era Extd TVP's on my rig. I like the Ext'ed because the truck is much more stable in the air, when compared to the stock length. But with that aside I'd go with...
