RE: Snowmobile Hop ups?

Great job!

The snow will not however stabalize the suspension unfortunately. If anything, you should have made the stance wider. It will roll like crazy in the uneven snow. Speaking from...

From what I understand, Jordan does not sell his Rev model to general public.

RE: Snowmobile Hop ups?

That is my sled. I just have them there mocked up, not screwed in. Believe if you want but I designed and built them myself. They will not stay on without them and even then sometimes I rip them...

RE: Snowmobile Hop ups?

You need to buy very small machine screws and nuts. Use your drill and and drill 3 holes evenely throughout the track so the machine screws can slip through. Fold over the aluminum strips and poke...

RE: rc power wheels

I recommend using a Pocket bike motor which range from 3 hp to 15+ hp. All are centrifugal clutch driven and use a T25 chain. RPM's range from 12-14000 for air cooled and up to 18000 for Liquid...

RE: Bond jet Ice boat

Nice project.

My question is how to add a suspension without increasing the overall height? A suspension would help but may be a little unstable at higher speeds opposed to a rigid setup. You...

RE: R/C Nirto Snowmobile in the making

How heavy is the sled? Have you weighed it?

It is nice to see you are experimenting and have results.

I have built a sled with a .15 before and in my opinion was underpowered. I am...

RE: RC Snowmobile

Hey guys,

I just want to add that making a sled from scratch is possible and high speeds can be achievable. I am almost finished (no more snow really) for this year but will continue to...

RE: New Brite Ski doo ???s

By seeing your setup you can possible tilt the transmission forward (90 degrees) and possible run a much larger motor if there is clearence for it. It looks lik you can and that means more power and...

RE: New Brite Ski doo ???s

You can use the original gears if you like but will have to do some modifications to make it work. The tunnel drive shaft (hex shaped) needs a bearing that fits first. Sealed is best. Once you...

RE: SkiDoo Snowmobile (let the mods begin)

Hey guys,

Everybody has good points but has anybody really seen a 1/6 brushless setup go? Have any of you seen a Nitro 1/6 skidoo dialed in go? These are all opinions based on what we know now....

RE: SkiDoo Snowmobile (let the mods begin)

Entity... I will put my sled up against an electric. I know what mine will do now. 2.75 hp with a 8.5lb sled, hmm sounds like a good race to me. There is no fun in the electric. No smoke, no...

RE: RC Snowmobile

Hey Doug,

The gears are slipping or the track is slipping. These RTR's are built very cheap and break very easily. There are not too many setups you can do that will work with this setup. If...

RE: New Brite Ski doo ???s

No it is not. Do not try and use a 19.2 volt system for anything but it's system setup. This system does not take kindly to tinkering. It will fail and you will most likely lose communication...

RE: New Bright Ski-Doo MXZ - bearings?

The hex tunnel drive gear will only house a bearing if it is rounded to 4mm. They do sell 4mmx10mm bearings at your local hobby shop. You can also run 5x10 or 5x11mm bearings with 5mm threaded rod....
