looks like a BVM manual retract.
They have a new all metal with cylinder, and it fits were the old one did.
Also, you can get one that rotates the wheel as it retracts.

I paid $1200 for a repair and the electric conversion.
You will need a new EDT for $300 so you ca actess the new ECU for so varibles.
Well worth the one time cost.

Buy it with the Beotech landing gear, follow the instructions and you won't have any problems.
The p-60 is a littel small if you are flying off a rought grass field.
Other wise it a good combo.

I have had several Carbon fusalage and i put the antena inside a nyrod inside the fuse.
and never had any problems.
Then again I only Futaba 14mz.

I have (4) ANTUSA turbines.
(2) AT280s (1) AT540 & (1) AT180.
One of the 280s has been converted to the new electric start and puts out a lot more power than when it was new, about 9 years ago.

I flew that thing for thee years, no problem.
Then I got one with everyhing flaps and ailerons included.
The first one flew better.

It took me three days to get from the box to the air.
The only mod was the flap control horn.
I don't like crossing radio equipment so I used Futaba S9650s on the flaps, rudders and ailerons.

Here is what I did to the Eurokit to stop them from bending at the 6mm joint on takeoff.
I drillled out the rolling blocks to 1/4".
Then I carefully drilled out the Mainstruts to 1/4 "

Mine came with Eurokit gera and I had to modify the gear to keep from bending on takeoff.

The control horns have been glued in and I would like to start on the retracts, but there seems to be what looks like a mesurment differance regaurding the nose...

It just came back from the new owners of AMTUSA and in runs better than before I sent it in.

I know the problem. I had (2) two Turbomins and you just cant cook them long enought to make them tender enought.

I used Centuey jet 5th scale gear with 3/4"
struts and Glinnis wheels and to power the XL I used an AMT 450.
