It's an Ultrafly PC-9. Seems to be a standard foam type. I thought about doing that for that very reason (nicks on leading edges, and areas that would easily suffer damage. Don't get me wrong... this...

I found some really thin clear packing tape laying around here. Have any of you tried covering your models with this stuff...? It dosen't seem that even fully covered it would add alot of overall...

I have to admit, this is some of the coolest flying I've ever done. Generally speaking, I've found that the night air is more stable for those lighter, smaller planes, but a while back, the batteries...
