RE: Helicopter Canopy Defects

Here's a picture of it. The other side is completely smooth. This side shown looks like a wobbly mess. For the price I guess little defects like this might be expected but I know that most other...

Helicopter Canopy Defects

Hello,

I recently purchased a few canopies from you all. One for my 450 heli and one for my 500 heli. The 450 canopy has no issues. Very nice molding and the paint job is quite nice. Great...

RE: SNHobbies Flasher 450 V2 Build/Review ($135 Metal Heli)

I'll get you that picture tomorrow. You want to mount it under the boom block with the top of the label towards the body of the heli. The bottom of the label towards the tail.

Just set the gyro...

RE: SNHobbies Flasher 450 V2 Build/Review ($135 Metal Heli)

I should have mentioned in my review that my kits didn't come with fasteners for the servos. I remembered to tell SNHobbies but I guess I forgot when I did the write up. Sorry about that.

BECis a Battery Eliminator Circuit. Some speed controllers have built in BEC's that run the servos, receiver, gyro, etc... For many cheap speed controllers though the built in one is not good enough...

RE: SNHobbies Flasher 450 V2 Build/Review ($135 Metal Heli)

The manual is pretty much word for word exactly the same as a Trex SE V2 manual. Other than changing Trex to Flasher I could find no differences.

Good luck with the build. If you have any...

Check out the finless videos over on helifreak. Pretty much all you'll need to know about a t-rex or clone works.

RE: SNHobbies Flasher 450 V2 Build/Review ($135 Metal Heli)

Now that the Trex PRO is out there are a bunch of little upgrades for the V2 SE that are popping up so I decided to check and see if these worked on the Flasher.

I've been spoiled a bit with my...

RE: SNHobbies Flasher 450 V2 Build/Review ($135 Metal Heli)

The PE is a good kit. The ICE Motor and the MKS Speed controller are also good. I do recommend an external bec like a park bec or ccbec but there are people that have been successful with the built...

RE: CLONE OF THE YEAR AWARDS

I'd vote for the Flasher 450SE. Excellent all metal heli for $135 shipped. Pics below.

There is also the Flasher 450PE which has G-10 frames, metal swash, metal washout base, metal center hub, all...

RE: SNHobbies Flasher 450 V2 Build/Review ($135 Metal Heli)

Do you all mean the CopterX 450 Black Angel (http://www.copterx.com/kit_ba.html)? That's the only 450BA I could find. I've wanted a black angel for a while now but I've not found a North America...

RE: Lightning Heli Scale Helicopter - Black Hawk - ARTF h-black-hawk-artf [h-black-hawk-artf]

I'd also be really interested to see how they did the elevated tail linkages. A lot of engineering needed to do all they have there properly and they show no internal pictures. Interesting but unless...

RE: SNHobbies Flasher 450 V2 Build/Review ($135 Metal Heli)

I do like the EVO packs. One of my EVO Lite 2100mAh packs has taken an amazing beating. A crash at 80MPH into the dirt in my EDF F-16 ending up almost 50 yards down the football field and it still...

RE: SNHobbies Flasher 450 V2 Build/Review ($135 Metal Heli)

It does seem to be a near identical clone. The only part I've found to not work on it is the anodized tail bushing. The threading for the tail bushings don't match. Other than that I've not found one...

You're going to want to use something like this:

You should be able to get these bullet connectors at any hobby shop. 3mm...
