RE: 1/8 truggy acting irregular, kindly assist.

To help explain what Castle Creations was talking about needing about batteries, their motors and many other 1/8 scale brushless system that using 4-pole motor can draw BIG amp numbers. Low quality...

RE: OFFICIAL Detta ST THREAD **********

Mongoose is a sensored motor but it should *work* as sensorless, just as my Tekin T8 works with my mamba monster. I dunno how much the mongoose motor cost, but you could try the ammo 5900.

RE: Charging LiPo methods

I would say you can, but it's unwise unless they are matched packs.

RE: Blitz, SC10, Slash, or Strike?

I almost bought a Blitz this afternoon, but with the season coming to a close and winter coming up fast, I decided to hold on to my $200 and wait. HobbyCity is out of stock on the lipos I want to...

RE: mods for detta buggy?

For racing stock, VR3 and advance the timing. It'll kill the motor faster, but you'll gain some power out of it. I like the difference it made in my ST when I added sway bars and they upgrade isn't...

RE: OFFICIAL Detta ST THREAD **********

For carpet racing where money is a stake those might be a good investment, but at the dusty places I run at it would just be money down the drain. Besides that, the only metal shielded bearings I...

RE: OFFICIAL Detta ST THREAD **********

And I was typing on my phone. I suppose I have enough gear diffs to last me if the Ammo 3900 is going to start chewing them up in the front end. I'm still curious to whether or not people have...

RE: Getting A Blitz tomorrow.

I'm not familiar if the Blitz comes with the wheels/tires attached or not....but your threads are going the wrong direction.

RE: OFFICIAL Detta ST THREAD **********

The used detta I have coming in the mail has a dtx ball diff in the rear and I'm considering putting on in the front. I'm not sure if I'll need it with only an ammo 3900 in it on 2s lipo. I have 3...

RE: Lipo charger

For the money you'd be better off buying one of the Turnigy chargers off of hobbycity or getting one off ebay. The Accucel-6 has all the functions that the Onyx 230 is missing. If you wanna get a...

RE: Lipo charger

I used to have one. It will do 3s. There are plenty of other good chargers out there that can do as much as the Onyx 230 and more for the price. Hobbycity has good deals on a few.

RE: Vorza flux

Low ground clearance. No doubt about its durability, but have you ever wheeled a 1/8 buggy?

I'm not sure how to answer this. The illusion of speed or lack there of may be a problem in...

RE: 1/18th scale buggy?

Duratrax only markets the Vendetta series of cars. You'll see LRP Shark, Monster Shark, Anderson MB4....All the same! Great buggy btw.

RE: OFFICIAL Detta ST THREAD **********

For those looking to get a cheap brushless setup, I think hobbycity has their 18 and 30amp escs back in stock. I thought about buying one but the detta I'm getting used has a micro sidewinder in it.

RE: OFFICIAL Detta ST THREAD **********

An aluminum bumper wouldn't look any better after you nailed something with it. Try making a big foam bumper like those on touring cars, it might help you car bounce better.

RE: Vorza flux

It doesn't have anything more to offer than any of the other brand name buggies have to offer. If you have a track to run on, it'll be a lot more fun than if you didn't.
It boggles me why people...

RE: Who here is tried of Electric rc

Lipo all the way. I keep my batteries at storage charge most of the time so it only takes 30 mins to top them off. Just enough time to pick up my pit gear and lock the door behind me. And busting...

RE: OFFICIAL Detta ST THREAD **********

I can't let this thread die, it's too important.

I'm picking up someones brushless Detta ST in a trade. Now when my nephew asks if he can drive mine I just let him wheel my loaner :D.

RE: Thinking of buying a nitro car

I'd stay away from the Nitro Sport. It may look like a good deal, but there are better RC's to spend your money on.

RE: slammed into a guys leg today

I have a few smart*** comments to add.

Was he jaywalking ?

He's got a bruise, and you've got a guilt trip. I'd call it even.

In all seriousness, I think you did the right thing...
