RE: Hangar-9 RV-8 with 2 stroke

Based on the model to real world measurements, I think the model is 1/5th scale. So I am going to check out 1/5th scale pilot figures.

RE: Hangar-9 RV-8 with 2 stroke

Thanks fredsedno.

I have seen in this forum others suggest using the GP RV-4 cowl on the H9 RV-8 because supposedly the GP RV-4 has more room. I dont know if that is really true and for me...

RE: New Great Planes Revolver

I built one this year and am using a OS 46Fx. As I am not the most skilled or experienced pilot, I didn't want to overpower/speed it anyway. I am enjoying the plane just fine with a 46. I think a...

RE: NEW H9 P51 Mustang 60 ARF

Well Google is a wonderful thing. It looks like the OS 75ax wins at 2.4 vs 2.2 for the FS 1.25.

What I cant find via google is whether the 75ax can be installed inside the cowling without the...

RE: NEW H9 P51 Mustang 60 ARF

I am interested in how this plane would fly with a 2 stroke os 75ax. Does anyone know what the relative power out put of the 75ax is compared to a 1.20 4 stroke such as the fa-125?

RE: New Great Planes Revolver

Can you do that even after installing the great planes original? Seems like it would pretty much rip up the rudder and the end of the fuselage.

Any thoughts on how to retrofit?
