RE: mCPX Rotor will not return to neutral

Interesting, I'll check the main shaft. I also read, after a search, that someone with a nano experienced the same issue. The responders stated that this condition is normal and it has something to...

mCPX Rotor will not return to neutral

Have been flying the mCPX for about a month and other than normal wear and tear it has worked flawlessly. I have the RTF version, actually the newer V2. Just recently I noticed that the main rotor...

RE: Buzzing MCPX

I have the RTF that came with the DX4e TX and it does buzz when I plug in the heli battery. Sure is a kick to fly!! If a small servo gear is spinning, something is wrong. These are liner actuation...

RE: DX4e good for heli AND plane?

Thanks daytonarc, that's exactly the type of information I'm looking for. Sounds to be doable for both heli and plane but to your point, having the Tx set correctly each time before binding sounds...

RE: DX4e good for heli AND plane?

Thanks, and understand your comment. I have a programable Tx, but it is buried in a storage unit for the time being. As mentioned, I travel a lot and just wondered if the plane would fly...

DX4e good for heli AND plane?

New to spektrum spread but not RC. Just bought a Blade mCPX RTF as I wanted to try heli's, it came with a DX4e Tx. As most of my planes are larger and I travel a lot, I was wondering if I could use...

RE: Midwest Citabria wing struts and tail braces

"Thank you Buckmeister, what you provided me was exactly what I was looking for. Others seem to have a preference for something of their own " Invention" that I personally feel would be totally out...

RE: Officially frustrated!!

I have never owned a Saito but had a similar problem with another engine; could only get half a flight and dead stick. I tried everything with the engine, even the guys at the field had a go at it. I...

RE: Midwest Citabria wing struts and tail braces

I think your question was answered. But do you have to put the wing struts on? No you don't have to. You don't have to wear a safety belt or a motorcycle helmet either.

Not trying to be smart...

How to repair a foam wing?

What is the best way to repair this balsa sheeted foam wing? The prop did not hit anything but foam and sheeting. The foam has been compressed and leaves a hole when the prop is removed. Should I cut...

RE: Do you think this will hurt the aerodynamics?

Yup, that is probably the best so far. The only problem with using it as a skid is that I would have to saw the LG in half so the other side would balance out.

RE: Do you think this will hurt the aerodynamics?

Thanks for all the great repair ideas; ok I'll sand it off and glue it in place. I'll also break off the other half of the propeller and stick it thru the other wing so it will balance out. Of...

Do you think this will hurt the aerodynamics?

Came in a little hot, blew the gear off, broke the prop and when I went to get the plane I saw this! Should I just epoxy it in? :D

RE: Skybolt hangar and clubhouse

It's easy in a cross wind; windward wingtip down, cross rudder, slip it in until flare, strighten nose with opposite rubber and level wings, flare and 3 point landing. Full scale is one thing, but I...

RE: Skybolt hangar and clubhouse

ZOR, my issue was not prop clearance but landing gear sag (which affects prop clearance). What I did to correct the overly flexible stock landing gear (and indirectly improve prop clearance) was to...
