OK found the source of my problems .... ignition battery was on the way out. Voltage had dropped right off. Replaced with a new battery and all OK.

My ZDZ 50NG has run flawlessly for a couple of years and then today had a perfect flight without any problems and on the second flight she suddenly stopped throttling up and one could hear the engine...

The correct washout is for the leading edge to drop...

I posted back in August on aerobobs closed thread that I was using the ZDZ40RV but couldn't fly till my servos came in. I only use Hitec HS5985MG (the new replacements for HS5945MG)...

I posted some time ago about using a ZDZ40RV and noted a few guy's considering a gas motor. Personal choice was to try the gas motor as everyone is already using OS/YS motors so would be nice to see...

I have also used two batteries the same way for many many years with Futaba RX just use an unused channel port for the second battery and a second switch or you can use two RX with a battery/switch...
