yeah sorry.. ok the engines are both brand new.... not broken in i have only tried to break them in.... i am using a roto start for the 18 and a starter box for the 12tz. i have tried a new glow...

i think it may be my starter. it has two 540 motors and this will be its first break in, i have used it on my other motors but they were already broken in. ill loosen the glow plug a little and heat...

ok so i just started to break in the os today after school, and after the apparent stripping of 3 OWBs. i just got a new starter shaft and it worked! then, after about 5 mins of running and starting...

ok so i started the break in via heat cycle, gettin it up around 200 then letting it cool at BDC, i am doing this with the glow driver attached. It seams like everytime it dies after i take it off...

Ok guys, this is gonna sound REALLY strange lol so i tried it again and its not even CLOSe to gripping the shaft so i just said ahhh to hell with this and i took a hammer to it, and beat the crap out...

Guys, i have gone through 3, brand new one way bearings for this engine and they keep stripping! i called traxxas they said to saok it in denatured alcohol or nitro so i did and dried it very...

its not the roto start, and yes i have been trying it with my hand first, it does get a good grip! You ahve the 18 tm too dont you? are you using the traxxas OWBs or something else? man idk what is...

sorry. yeah i am POSITIVE im putting it in the right way, im using the dtx superstart (rotostart) and yes it just spinds withought turning the crankshaft

Ok so my one way bearing keeps slipping, so i took it off and soaked it in nitro/rubbing alcohol mix thinking that it would take out some of the grease in it. What is the difference between a broken...
