Just to clarify a bit on that chart. Its amps at max efficiency. So if you gear or prop a boat to run at those amps, it will have its max efficiency. But you can easily draw twice as many amps by...

Simon is 8s a typo? I would not suggest 8s. I don't think it will last for long.

RE: UNOFFICIAL CEN EP BOATING FORUM

Thanks for the support!

I stopped building the xtreme when the sv came out. It is just a better value.
The xtreme prop was a 42mm. I wouldn't run a 45 with 16 cells.

RE: SV27 Water Cooling

The stock inlet and outlet on the OSE metal water jacket will work just fine.
Its not the amount of flow its the amount of area that the water actually touches the motor housing.

RE: Hotz and his first drive...

Looking good! Are you running the stock motor on 14 cells?
The nose looks real light at full speed. You could try moving the packs about an inch forward.

Thanks

I'm closed for the weekend, but I think I have x642 s&b in stock. Take a look on the site.

RE: New Micro Hydro Brushless RTR

They were taped shut. I open them before shipping to double check the parts are all inside and test shaft binding.

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

I havent tested one, but any radio should work.

The tabs should be in soon. The machine shop is a bit slower than they promised.
I can't wait myself. Adjusting will be a snap!

RE: UNOFFICIAL CEN EP BOATING FORUM

It depends on which esc, there have been several. Some would go to 14 cells, some would heat up on 12 cells.
The newest one will handle 14. But I have not tested one yet.

RE: Hotz Racing 43" RTR

There is a 550 size motor inside. I don't think a gas engine would be a good choice. The hulls is made to be very light and would need much structural work.

We are out of the turn fins for a while.

I'm not sure on the props for your other boat.

I will take some before and after videos of the Hotz boat.

RE: Hotz Racing 43" RTR

You are correct. I meant the shaft angle to be a good thing. Most times its very negative and the stock setup can't be used at all.
There is no adjustment to the prop angle.

I'm not a...
