RE: R40, no instructions on how to adjust the suspension

Thanks. I just registered over there and I do not see an R40 forum. I do see a thread called "R40 forum" and it is about 250 posts long. Is that what you are talking about?

I just got an R40 kit. I am reading the book that came with the car and it does not mention anything about how to adjust the suspension. According to HPI the car has

RE: What engine are you running on your R40?

I am going to run this motor (http://www.ofna.com/eng-picco-roar.html) with an SG shaft. I have been very happy with the Picco .26 in my Savage (http://www.rbartick.com/hpi/buildidx.htm) so I...

RE: Having trouble starting a brand new 18SS motor

I hate to state the obvious, but you are doing something wrong. The wheels spinning would not cause it to stall. Check your glow plug, set the needles back to factory specs, pre-heat the motor with...

RE: Is the HPI Nitro RS4 3 18SS Kit a good first kit?

I race my 18ss in an Outlaw class. If we do not have enough cars for an Outlaw class they let me run with the ROAR legal cars. I am a ROAR member and I usually run here:

RE: Having trouble starting a brand new 18SS motor

When I got my 18SS Kit I sealed the backplate and the carb neck with RTV before starting it. I also installed the HPI/Motorsaver performance air filter. I set the carb needles to the factory...

RE: Need Help With RS4 RTR 3

Check the fuel line when it shuts off. If it is getting fuel I would replace the glow plug. If it is not getting fuel you will have to look fot an air leak.

Will RS4 3 bodies fit an R40?

I painted 4 HPI 200mm bodies for my RS4 3 18ss. They are all cut out, trimmed, and reamed to fit my RS4. Will they fit on an R40? I know the tank, exhaust, and glow plug holes are different but I do...
