RE: [Deleted]

Three pages of utter nonsense. No one even tried to help this poor guy. The utter lack of civility and respect in this thread is shocking to say the least. In my own humble opinion, there are a few...

RE: is this a clutch problem

Most likely a clutch shoe spring broke. Happens all the time, especially as the shoe starts to wear the spring can actually ride the bell.

RE: mybackyard track....after the rebuild

One way that works is to mix up a batch of 1/3 cement and 2/3 dirt. Mix well with water so its a goopy enough to form the jump. What ever jump face you are making, should be partially formed...

RE: Video Card for Video Output on 60

As far as a computer goes, the vid card doesn't care if its a 100" screen or a 10". All that matters is that the video card is capable of resolutions that are compatible with the TV in question. The...

RE: Revo Differential Help Needed

A differential of this type cannot 'slip' as a standard RC slipper will. Nor will it 'bark' as a ball diff can. Based on your description I am guessing the mesh is off a bit on the ring and pinion....

RE: New User Name???

In the early 90's when I first signed up for NTN Trivia at my local watering hole I chose RacerX. When I started visiting forums this decade, I used that moniker. When I got here, that name was taken...

RE: Cute widdle kitten pics part 2... He grew! Now with vid! *******

His eyes changed color! Is that common in cats?

With the long hair and large size, I wonder if he doesn't have some Maine Coon in him!

RE: Old Dale is trying his hand with a Micro Heli... Dale - 0 Heli - 2

The CX's, or probably any of the counter-rotating dual-rotor copters, are much more stable than the singles. But that stability comes at the cost of maneuverability. It's an OK learning copter, gets...

RE: Why are radio control hobby people elitists?

You can't be serious...
Personally, I would much rather be able to come in to RCU and only have to worry about some foreign company making accounts to spam the boards with adds. You do realize that...

RE: Track Insurance

The reason I say a business plan should be your priority is because you have to have one to file the paperwork for the Non profit, LLC or whatever. To be perfectly honest, I don't know quite enough...

RE: Track Insurance

First, your overall basic business plan. You do have one don't you? If not that should be your priority. If you can afford it, get an attorney's office to do it for you. Most won't charge more than...

RE: STUPID TOURISTS!!!!

Who needs tourists? This woman has been charged with a few crimes. I think she has yet to be in court. She used to constantly feed the bears. Her neighbors claimed they had seen as many as 20 of...

RE: Best XXL body

I'd love to see someone that has a wing mounted up to the shock tower (AKA muggified type) see how LST2 bodies fit. That extra chassis length might mean no more cutting bodies - but would that mean...

RE: Benefit to walking the track?

Huh. I thought this was a common practice? Perhaps not. I walk the track before and after my first warm ups. Just me?[sm=confused.gif]

RE: Ripping up my diffs

I certainly do not remember telling you this. And I bought an LST back in July of 2004 (2005? mr memory here...) when they first came out. Talk about diff problems - the plastic cases failed almost...

RE: Ripping up my diffs

^
This.

I had the same problems on my LST2. The housing would give way where the pins sit and that throws the mesh completely out of whack. This would happen as often as just one 5 min...

RE: Fuel coming out of exhaust? Kyosho GX-15 Tuning

You may not be able to do a thing about this. With just a single needle, it seems likely that fuel is blowing through on idle which you won't be able to adjust out. Besides, a little fuel coming...

RE: pro driver salaries

So,

Are we talking 100%'ers or Factory Team drivers?

I know some 100%'ers. Tires, parts, fuel - everything they want/need for free. The chassis sponsors also give them a per diem and travel...

RE: good racing monster truck

OS VZB V-Spec. And lose the starting system so you can get a bump box.

And yes, a properly set up LST2 will be just as competitive as a Revo at the track. If your track has an MT class anyway....

RE: good racing monster truck

The MT class is a dying breed at most tracks. They are harder to get around the track fast when compared to a truggy, and you have a MUCH more limited choice of trucks to run. The Revo and LST2 are...

RE: Should Traxxas make a 1/8th buggy?

OK, first - please keep the discussion civil. There's no need for name calling.

My take? I have no issues whatsoever with Traxxas trying to get into the racing market. Whether it be an entry...

RE: thunder tiger silver fox

New in the box, you might expect as much as $1500 for that buggy. As it sits, it's not very valuable. Parts are all but impossible to get & are very expensive when they can be found - Look for parts...

RE: Micheal Jacksons Autopsy Report

It's a well reported fact that the autopsy report from The Sun is fake. This thread is on an obvious downhill spiral - locked.
